… Our Story …
After talking to numerous parents at the pool one day about their kids not having any outlets due to either autism, ADHD, and other factors, it made me realize something was missing and there is a grossly underserved population of kids that need an outlet and support. Gyms won’t let children under 12 workout in the facility. Mainstream organized sports aren’t always able to offer the patience, guidance and support that children of different needs may require to participate. This can lead to frustration and a sense of not belonging. That’s why I decided to create a training program that was a hybrid of both my martial arts background and fitness. Taking the character development aspect and combing a fitness program with a 1:1 ratio these kids can have their own outlet and excel, which in return build the strength and confidence needed for later on if they wanted to pursue a group activity. Stronger than Labels Fitness has a deep meaning to myself and I want everyone to know we’re stronger than the labels put on us and each of us can excel with the right motivation and support.
